The Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., Zeta Omega Chapter is proud to announce that Gwen Kirtley, Great Lakes Regional Director of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., will be honored as Citizen of the Year during the prestigious Russell T. Adrine Achievement Week. This celebration will take place on Saturday, November 8th, at the Hilton Garden Inn in Twinsburg, Ohio.

About Gwen Kirtley

Gwen Kirtley serves as the Great Lakes Regional Director of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., overseeing chapters across Ohio, Michigan, West Virginia, and other states in the region. In her leadership role, she provides guidance, strategic direction, and mentorship to thousands of sorority members dedicated to sisterhood, scholarship, and service.

Under her leadership, the Great Lakes Region has amplified programs focused on educational excellence, economic advancement, community impact, and youth empowerment. Gwen has worked tirelessly to strengthen community ties, advocate for families, and create pathways for the next generation of leaders. Her career and service demonstrate a lifelong commitment to uplifting others and making a meaningful difference.
